I have always loved animals...and always hated how inhumane people can be towards them. The ASPCA is an organization after my very own heart...protecting those little helpless animals whose only joy in life is being loved by others. Where else in the world can anyone feel true 100% unconditional love than from an animal.
I can not even begin to count all the dogs I have rescued off the streets, two now live with me, and sleep at the foot of my bed every night. There have been many times I have rescued animals in the pouring rain, covering my car with muddy paw prints, stayed up very late at night waiting for owners to return home because their doggie got out of a broken fence, or the times I have waded into traffic to get a dog out of harms way...only because he was confused and trying to get home. I can not watch movies where animals die without having boxes of tissues in my hands. I guess you could say...I am a huge animal lover and want to give as much money, time and effort to societies like ASPCA who on a daily basis help fight cruel treatment of animals...like during the aftermath of Katrina.
ASPCA is trying to lobby so that when faced with a hurricane disaster again, we can take our animals with us.
So, this is why I am giving 25% of all proceeds made from selling photos of myself to support this cause.
